Katie Harwood

Katie moved from the Midlands (woop woop), UK, with her partner to Melbourne, Australia, in 2024.

We first came across her videos as we were just putting our house up for sale, and inspired by her incredible spreadsheet Check this video for that we sprung into action with regards to selling bits and pieces around the house.

Katie's videos around apartment hunting are really useful, and I recommend you give them a watch if you are Melbourne-bound.

Katie's content is presented in a journal vlog style. So you can expect videos on how life looks in Melbourne, whether it's in a 'weekend in my life' style or 'day in my life' style video.

These videos always seem honestly presented and authentic.

Migration Status: Migrated

Katie Harwood has made the move from the UK to Australia! As such they can speak from experience and are therefore a resource with great authority.

Half the World Away Resource Rating!

8 out of 10

Katie’s vlogs give a good impression of life in Melbourne for a young couple. It isn’t family-centric like a lot of the other resources on the site.

Katie also shows clips of some of the cafés and scrummy-looking food in those establishments.

The croissant French toast looked insanely good and almost a reason in itself to make a trip to Melbourne.

If you are considering a move to Australia, her early vlogs are excellent for getting an understanding of what the late migration schedule may look like for you.

Obviously, your situation will be unique, so you may well have other considerations; however, I still think her content is well worth your time if you are considering moving from the UK to Australia.

Insanely Good Looking French Toast
