Our Family Setup
We are a family of four from Coventry UK looking to obtain permanent Residency in Australia.
We are a professional couple who both currently work full-time.
One of our children is primary school age, the other is in secondary education.
Dani is a primary school teacher and the main visa applicant, and Chris is a web developer.

Our Visa – Permanent Residency In Australia
To support our dream move to Australia, we wanted to obtain a permanent residency Visa.
After initially being attracted to Perth, Western Australia, we eventually decided to apply to South Australia via the Skilled Nominated Visa – Subclass 190 path.
This was down to a few factors –
- First and foremost, South Australia had primary school teachers on the skilled occupation list
- The proximity to major cities, Melbourne and Sydney. The drive from Perth to Melbourne is around 36 hours! Compared to just hours from Adelaide to Melbourne
- The climate – The Adelaide climate is often compared to the Mediterranean with dry heat compared to the humidity of somewhere like Brisbane. This is ideal for us.
