190 Visa Requirements

General Requirements:

  • Be under the age of 45
  • Have a valid Skills Assessment
  • Have an eligible skilled occupation
  • Have at least 65 points
  • Have at least competent English

Additional ACT Requirements:

  • Two-year commitment – The Australian Capital Territory requires that you live and work in Canberra for at least two years from your visa grant
  • The ACT operated the Canberra Matrix system where you have to accumulate the required amount of points to receive a nomination
  • Are eligible for a job on the ACT Critical Skills List
